Order the full course Today! The Instructors James R. Longacre James R. Longacre has been preparing applicants to take the patent bar exam for over 25 years. He was one of the originators of the West Patent Bar Review course, and served as Academic Director and as a primary lecturer for the PLI (formerly PLI/Longacre & White) Patent Bar Review course. Mr. Longacre is currently of counsel with the firm Liniak, Berenato, Longacre & White. He began his career as a patent agent with Cushman, Darby & Cushman, now Pillsbury & Winthrop, in 1967, remaining with the firm as a partner until 1989, when he accepted a partnership with Squire, Sanders & Dempsey. He later left Squire, Sanders & Dempsey to form his own firm of Longacre & White. He has been active in all phases of patent law, including representing agencies of the English And German governments, and has lectured throughout the world on various patent topics. He was a lecturer in PRG’s “Patent Bar Review” course (1987-1994) and in PRG’s “Advanced Patent Prosecution and Preparation” course (1976-1993).
